Lauren’s topic is on the positive effects of video games on children. She had taken a lot of feedback into account in furthering her DA and research, and also did a good job redoing her schedule as time went on. I commended her on her evaluation of feedback and her ability to take the suggestions given to her and make them a practical part of her project and background research. Her case study of Nintendogs was particularly interesting to me, and seems to have many positive connotations with children and their experiences of video games. To give her a more all rounded view of the topic I suggested she look into games of genres other than the life simulator genre.
