My plan is to Look at the popular fighting video game League of Legends and see why people are still so obsessive with a game with mechanics that haven’t changed over the course of a decade.
With use of video essays, I will be analysing the subtle changes to gameplay that Riot Games have made to keep the game balanced and fun, as well as explaining how each match is different to the last.
Running through each of the ten seasons of league of legends, I will show how the map changed through the years and talk about how pro players adapt to these changes and use them to their advantage. I will be speaking with high ranking player to gain audio interviews to solidify my points as well as bring up new ones.
