Gender Sexualisation in Games
For this assignment, I will be exploring sexualisation in game media and the game I will be focusing on is called Chapters: Interactive Stories on my iPhone. This will require me to analyse the game characters body type, body language, words and phrases and overall aesthetic of the game. I will be uploading each chapter as a separate YouTube videos on my channel. My inspiration for this project comes from jennxpenn on youtube as she did a similar series on her channel playing the game Episode.
There are various sources that examine the issue of gender sexualisation in games. In particular, some look closely at representation, gender stereotyping and how women are sometimes overly sexualised as was designed for men.
