My experience with board games up until this semester has been fairly limited. Prior to this, I’ve only really played your standard run-of-the-mill board games like Snakes and Ladders, Monopoly, etc. Having missed the first week of class, I’m gonna be drawing from what I learned throughout weeks 2 and 3.
I was really impressed to hear how many different genres of board games exist out there. You’d think that it’s all just the same thing, but the varying intricacies from game to game really changed my perspective, which is surprising seeing as I’m well aware of the different types of genres that exist in video games. It’s a wonder that I didn’t realise this sooner.
