As discussed in my project pitch, my project is focused on Minecraft VS Fortnite and the teenage addiction between those games. My project will be conducted through a series of three video essays instead of four, as I realised I would not be able to complete all four. One of the essays has already been posted to YouTube.
Through my first video essay, I realised that the process of filming and editing took longer than I expected and decided to shorter the number of videos, so that I could spend longer editing and filming each essay rather than rushing through them and risking them not turning out messy.
Following after the project pitch I have learnt to use more academic sources and have included them within my video essays in order to gain a deeper understanding into why games such as Fortnite and Minecraft have these addictive abilities. Sources such as
